Members of Milan’s Sri Lankan community news euromillions recently took part in an intercultural event at the Church of Scientology, centred on peaceful coexistence, youth participation and common values. The meeting highlighted an intercultural values event in Milan, using the common-sense moral code written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.

The event gave families, community leaders and young people a space to discuss responsibility, mutual respect and the role of values in integration. A particular focus was placed on younger generations, with Sri Lankan community leaders encouraging youth participation so that young people could become familiar with ethical principles that may guide future choices.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the United Nations, said such initiatives show how shared values can build trust across cultures. The Church of Scientology and its volunteers support social betterment initiatives across Europe, including education, prevention and community programmes inspired by L. Ron Hubbard.
